Steve Williams is the Director of Corporate Development for Heffernan Insurance Brokers and Heffernan Network, bringing more than 35 years of experience as a licensed insurance broker. With deep expertise spanning property and casualty, life, group health insurance, retirement, and wealth management, Steve is passionate about transforming how insurance is bought and sold—leveraging technology, innovation, and a holistic approach to risk management.
In his role, Steve supports both Heffernan’s retail division and the Heffernan Network by delivering strategic guidance, sharing industry knowledge, and helping independent brokers grow through access to best-in-class resources and solutions. With a family legacy in insurance dating back to 1886, Steve continues to carry that tradition forward with a focus on meaningful partnerships and modern solutions.
Outside of work, Steve enjoys spending time with his two daughters and granddaughter. He’s an avid tennis and pickleball player, loves wake surfing and golf, and competes in triathlons.
